NEW AMSTERDAM, Berbice — October 13, 2026
A segment on LRTVS NewsWatch this week took viewers inside Comfort Villa Plus, a short-stay accommodation offering two bedrooms and a laundry area for guests.
The walkthrough showed each bedroom fitted with a television, a bed and an attached bathroom, with the laundry area positioned between the two rooms.
Each bathroom includes a toilet, bath and sink, with mirrors and fittings that the presenter described as clean and well kept. A closet with a safe was also shown in the unit.
The tour continued into a dining area, where guests can sit at a table to have meals, with a television positioned nearby for those who wish to watch while eating with family or visitors.
The presenter summed up the property by saying Comfort Villa Plus is meant to bring an added level of comfort to guests, noting that while nothing replaces the feeling of home, the villa aims to capture that same feel.
Following the accommodation feature, the broadcast moved into a separate segment showing a faith-based gathering, where a speaker described a moment described as a healing taking place through what was called the power of God, with members of the gathering responding aloud in agreement.
The segment was introduced by a presenter identified on air, before the broadcast moved into its next item.
