Region One has a new ambassador. At a spectacular ceremony held over the weekend, the newly crowned Miss Region One was hailed by pageant officials for embodying grace, confidence, intelligence and dedication, qualities the organisers said earned her both the title and the responsibility that comes with it.
Special recognition was also extended to every delegate who graced the stage. Organisers expressed gratitude for the courage, discipline and hard work each young woman demonstrated throughout the competition, adding that every delegate brought inspiration, talent and pride to the pageant and, in doing so, made their families, their communities and Region One proud.
As the new queen and her court officially begin their reign, best wishes have been extended to them as they take on the role of ambassadors for Region One. Pageant officials said they look forward to seeing the positive impact the young women will have over the coming year.
It is the hope of the organisers that the year ahead will be filled with purpose, personal growth, meaningful community service and unforgettable experiences that will shape not only the reign of the queen and her court, but their futures as well.
