Ten finalists named for 44th Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen pageant

NEW AMSTERDAM, Berbice — October 26, 2026

Ten finalists have been named for the 44th edition of the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen pageant, which is scheduled for December 30, 2026. Guyana is among the countries selected.

Interest in this year's pageant was exceptionally high. More than 13 Caribbean countries and territories registered to take part, and ten finalists were chosen from that field.

The finalists are St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, Grenada, Anguilla, St. Lucia, St. Croix, Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Trinidad and Tobago.

The list brings together island nations, territories and Guyana, which is the only mainland South American country among the ten. It reflects the wide reach of a pageant that now draws participation from across the region.

This year's edition is being staged under the theme Radiant Treasures of the Caribbean. Under that theme, each finalist will showcase a national treasure from her homeland, highlighting the Caribbean's history, culture and natural beauty.

Organizers say that for more than four decades the pageant has promoted talent, education and cultural exchange across the Caribbean.

With the finalists now confirmed, attention turns to the December 30 staging of the pageant, where the contestants will be expected to present their chosen national treasures and represent their homelands before the region.
