BERBICE, Guyana — The No. 72 All Stars are the 2026 Price is Right Supermarket T20 League champions after a final that lived up to its billing, toppling the defending champions in front of a packed ground on the Corentyne.
From early morning, fans streamed through the gates for what has become one of Berbice’s most anticipated cricket events. Families, friends and die-hard cricket lovers filled the stands, and a commentary team in the box guided the crowd through every over of a match that swung both ways.
The defending champions came in with pedigree and pride, hoping to retain their crown. The challengers came in hungry. Both sides traded blows with bat and ball, but on the day it was the All Stars who held their nerve — disciplined bowling, sharp fielding and timely batting carried them past the champions and to the title.
The cricket was only part of the occasion. Crown Vibes kept the ground alive with sound between overs, and a live performance from popular artist Steven Ramphal kept the crowd entertained throughout the day.
Tournaments like this do more than crown a winner. They bring communities together, give young players a stage and keep the spirit of the game alive in Berbice — and the Price is Right Supermarket T20 League has once again delivered on that promise.
